You are right we don't need meat to survive but everyone doesn't think it tastes good! Either way, it's definitely not a good enough reason for the himsa (violence)involved.

Another good point. Most people couldn't do the deed themselves. Hence why, if they ever visit a slaughterhouse, they are often put off meat for a while, if not forever.

Yes! Amazing that it's taken so long to scientifically prove that fish also feel pain regardless of whether they're cold blooded or not!

Have you seen the PETA video that exposes the maltreatment of cows in India. http://is.gd/koCy

Having a voice! True. If you had to have a voice to deserve the right to live; people who could not speak because of a physical disability or an emotional trauma, for example, could be killed right? Of course, absolutely preposterous! Does this not apply to animals?

Does the economy need to keep the poor poor so that others remain better off? Perhaps it's part of the plan, hence why alternate animal feed has not been found and successfully replaced grain!

really surprised that you never talk about the joy of eating something that you love, a taste, a texture, a flavor maybe, a fruit or veg you like...

I'm enJOYing a colorful and well-balance whole-food, plant-based diet, because I like it! There is no meaning, its effort-less... I just love it, enjoy it each time I'm cooking, it drives my curiosity, I discover new ideas, share cooking experimentations...

I don't judge people eating habits, I don't think I'm superior based on my herbivore diet.

I may be wrong, but you may miss a point here. If you share love, compassion, inspire people by sharing great recipes of wonderful & colorful food, that might actually be more positive; than trying to dictate, preach or judge people's behavior, repeating info or facts on how bad they are by having specific eatings habits that you reject... don't you think?
