Whether an animal or a plant, you are killing something to eat it! The only reason why this passage is funny is because more and more people are forgetting where their food comes from. Hunting, fishing, trapping, or farming, picking, harvesting, all they see is the end product on some grocery shelf, cleaned, packaged and marketed for their convenience. Therefore they don't understand or TRULY respect what life really is. BTW, if dolphins are so intelligent, why do they eat fish? Obviously because it's okay!
